As we commemorate Black History Month, Totally Bri is proud to honor and celebrate the many contributions of black-owned businesses in our community. We are a black owned business ourselves, making us part of an ever-growing movement that strives to uplift, empower and create opportunities for minorities.
We understand the unique struggles of being an entrepreneur, and especially those faced by members of minority groups. We also understand that these enterprises make up an essential part of our community and are determined to recognize their hard work. With this in mind, we want to bring attention to the extraordinary contributions made by black business owners everywhere.
Totally Bri has been a proud black owned business since its inception over two years ago (June 2021). Our mission is to create stylish yet comfortable apparel that helps you express yourself authentically, no matter what look or style you’re going for. At Totally Bri LLC, we strive to provide quality apparel for everyone so they can express themselves authentically. From casual wear to athletic apparel and swimwear, our products help you stay comfortable while looking your best. This month let’s come together in solidarity and amplify the voices of black-owned businesses! This month, we’d like to invite all of our customers and supporters to join us in celebrating other incredible black entrepreneurs as they make their mark in history!
One example of such a successful and inspiring black owned business is CurveGirl Boutique. Founded in 2008. by CEO Angela Bowers, CurveGirl Boutique provides trendy plus size clothing for women who desire fashionable and flattering looks. Their main focus is on body positivity and self-love, values we strongly believe in here at Totally Bri.
In Summary
Totally Bri LLC was established one year ago (Feb. 10, 2022) but has been in business since June of 2021. To commemorate this one-year milestone, we invite you to join us in honoring other amazing black-owned companies! Let’s raise awareness about their achievements, challenge systemic racism and shine a spotlight on their success stories.
We encourage you to take time out of your day to reflect on the brilliant accomplishments of black entrepreneurs past and present. From innovators like Madame CJ Walker, who invented hair care products specifically for African American people, to contemporary companies like CurlMix - which sells natural haircare products tailored to individuals with curly/kinky hair - there are so many stories of success waiting to be shared.
As we enter into February, let’s remember the courageous spirit of these powerful black leaders. Let’s come together in solidarity and recognize their hard work and determination!
